USS Carl Vinson, The Ship That Buried Osama Bin Laden's Dead Body at North Arabian Sea Docks in Manila

USS Carl Vinson, the United States nuclear-powered aircraft carrier which carried and buried Osama bin Laden's corpse at the North Arabian Sea following his death in Abbottabad at the hands of the US Navy SEALs Team Six, docks at Manila Bay Sunday morning, May 15.

USS Carl Vinson with call sign "Gold Eagle" was accompanied by three other US vessels. The fleet is expected to dock in Manila Bay until May 18 "for a routine replenishment, maintenance of shipboard systems and crew liberty," as revealed by The Presidential Commission on the Visiting Forces agreement(PCVFA) officials.

The USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) is the third United States Navy Nimitz class supercarrier and is named after Carl Vinson, a Congressman from Georgia.
