French actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg took maternity wear to a complete new level final evening at Cannes Film Festival.

Charlotte shocked onlookers as she strolled down the red carpet within the provocative gown, which boasted a plunging neckline that cut down to her burgeoning bump.
The star is pregnant with her third kid with long-time partner French-Israeli actor and director Yvan Attal.
The couple currently features a 13-year-old son, Ben, and an eight-year-old daughter, Alice.
She teamed up the jaw-dropping ensemble with strappy green and black heels and posed for photographs with her co-star Kirsten Dunst.

Kirstin opted for a much more modest outfit, and stood alongside the film’s director Lars Von Trier inside a floor-length blue and black gown.
Charlotte has had a thriving film career with roles in such movies as Jane Eyre and Antichrist.
But she is also well known for becoming the daughter of 1960s ‘It girl’ Jane Birkin - the inspiration behind the Hermes Birkin bag - and music legend Serge Gainsbourg.
The Birkin bag was named after Charlotte’s pin up mother in 1984, who's also famed her 1969 hit single Je t’aime… moi non plus.
