Yasmien Kurdi was Sexually Harrased by Baron Geisler

Kapuso star Yasmien Kurdi filed an acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation charges against controversial actor Baron Geisler before the Philippine National Police (PNP) Women’s Crisis and Child Protection Center in Camp Crame in Quezon City last Monday, May 25.

As narrated by GMA-7 staff persent on the shooting, Baron harrassed her on May 21, the first day they met at the taping of GMA’s mini-series "Suspetsa" where they’re both lead stars.

Baron reportedly approached his co-star, Yasmien, and then, without warning: "Minanyak si Yasmien. Sinilipan, hinihipuan, tapos nag-masturbate sa harap niya."

"Una, nagla-laptop si Yasmien tapos nakikitingin lang si Baron. Tapos kinalkal na ni Baron gamit ni Yasmien. Noong nagpapahinga naman si Yasmien sa tent niya para matulog, tinabihan bigla ni Baron. Niyakap siya. After no'n, while on take, dapat beso lang daw yung scene, pero tina-try siya halikan."

In a scene where Yasmien, who was wearing a dress, was supposed to go up a spiral staircase, Baron, according to the source, waited for Yasmien to go up para silipan. After the take, Baron allegedly masturbated in front of Yasmien.

That incidents, added the source, was witnessed by two people: actress Jennylyn Mercado and Yasmien's personal assistant.

Yasmien then decided to file a complaint. Since then, Baron has reportedly been begging Yasmien not to push through with the case. But Yasmien has not yet withdrawn her complaint.

"SRO Cinemaserye Presents Suspetsa" Soon on GMA-7

"Suspetsa" is the next featured telemovie of GMA-7's Thursday night drama program SRO Cinemaserye.

Leading the cast are Starstruck alums Jennylyn Mercado, Nadine Samonte and Yasmien Kurdi. Playing their leading men are Paolo Contis, Ryan Eigenmann and Star Magic talent Baron Geisler.

This is Jennylyn's next project after Dramarama Sa Hapon's "Paano Ba Ang Mangarap" while Yasmien will also be seen in Dear Friend's next feature story titled "Madrasta".

"Suspetsa" is under the direction of Mark Reyes and will start airing from May 28 to July 16, on GMA-7.

Jennylyn Mercado Will No Longer Renew Contract with GMA Artist Center

There were rumors that after Jennylyn Mercado gives birth to her love child with Patrick Garcia, she will transfer to ABS-CBN just like Angel Locsin and Valerie Concepcion who are also being managed by talent manager Becky Aguila.

According to Becky Aguila, Jennylyn Mercado will truly not renew her contract with GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) but denied the transfer issue as she will remain a talent of GMA-7 but no longer under the management of GMA Artist Center.

There are reports that Jennylyn camp is considering to be a GMA exclusive contract artist just like Kapuso superstars Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, and Dennis Trillo.

Jennylyn’s comeback to the big screen is via the Metro Manila Filmfest entry “One Night Only” by Octoarts Films. There are also reports that she and former love team/boyfriend Mark Herras will be reunited in a primetime tv series on GMA.
