Star Cinema’s Best Friends Forever (BFF), starring the Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas and the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, raked in P97.8 million at the box-office in 3 weeks, making it the second highest grossing Pinoy film of 2009.According to Box Office Mojo, Best Friend Forever debuted at no. 2 on its weekend opening of May 13 to 17, 2009 with P44 million haul at the local box-office. The no. 1 movie in the country that time was Angels and Demons.
On its second week, Best Friends Forever (BFF) almost doubled its first weekend gross as it hit P82 million. Angels and Demons still ruled local box-office at that time while Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian debuted at no. 2.
