The fifth and sixth grand finalists of the country’s number one talent-reality show “Pilipinas Got Talent” have been named in the just concluded results night.
17-year-old singer Jose Emmanuel Cubil from Talisay City and Tap Dancing Brothers Happy Feet from Bukidnon made it to the third cut of the semi-final round.
After the overnight voting, Happy Feet led nationwide votes that automatically gave them the grand finalist slot. Judges, on the other hand, must choose whom between Jem Cubil and 24-year-old singer from San Pedro, Laguna Collins Gutierrez, who ranked 2nd and 3rd place in text votes, will also make it to the grand finals.
Judges Kris Aquino, Ai Ai Delas Alas, and Freddie “FMG” Garcia made a unanimous decision and all voted for Jem based on performance, face value and audience impact.
The two acts will now advance to the grand final alongside other two more grand finalists to be named next week.
This Saturday, May 22, who among semi-finalists Filogram from Baguio City, Maribeth Callanta of Dagupan City, Genevieve Rochelle Arandia from Las Pinas, First Beat Effect from Bacolod City, Next Generation Band of Davao del Norte and John Michael Narag of Pangasinan will make to to the finals?
Don’t miss “Pilipinas Got Talent 2,” hosted by Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford, airing every Saturday and Sunday, 8:45 PM on ABS-CBN.
