The heat is on for Filipino basketball fans as ABS-CBN and Studio 23 bring the 2011 NBA Playoffs to free TV.
Get more of the action this coming weekend in game three of the best-of-seven series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Hornets, to be aired LIVE this Saturday, April 23, 9:30am on Studio 23.
Find out if the defending champions led by Kobe Bryant get their momentum back after being clobbered in game one by the smaller Hornets behind All-Star point guard Chris Paul's 33 points, 14 assists, and 7 rebounds.
Come Sunday, April 24, it will be Dirk Nowitzki's turn to pump up his Dallas Mavericks against Brandon Roy’s Portland Trail Blazers in game four of their series to be aired on ABS-CBN Channel 2 at 7am.
On Monday, April 25, catch the New York Knicks’ Big Three - Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, and Chauncey Billups lead their team against the Boston Celtics’ power quartet of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen also on Channel 2 at 8am. Allen saved the day for Boston in their first game, but with the series on the line, resurgence from the Knicks is expected.
All the games will also have a same day primetime telecast on Studio 23 at 9:30pm.
