TV5 Facelifts Sunday Noontime Habit with Three New Shows in TanghaLINGGO! Go! Go!

Sundays will never be the same again as TV5 offers, not just one, but three brand-new shows that will define refreshed viewing habit starting on February 27. It’s definitely a TanghaLINGGO-Go-Go! as the Happy Network delivers your new Sunday favourites - Pinoy Samurai! (12nn), Lucky Numbers (1pm) and Fantastik (2pm) - with 100% real entertainment guaranteed.

At 12 noon, nothing is impossible with Pinoy players, especially if exciting prizes are at stake to become the Pinoy Samurai! Set in a real majestic castle, the show fit for a king is hosted by the royalty in comedy, Mr. Joey de Leon as Emperor Yoje. Joining him is his loyal servant Kimonay (Rufa Mi), and game masters Wilma Doesnt as Itimpura and Mr. Fu as Gaysha.

Every week, 30 contestants will vie for the title of Pinoy Samurai! But the road leading to prestige is rather difficult as they have to pass the Games with an array of obstacles including Tiny the giant sumo wrestler, Godzira the not-so-sturdy monster, Kulang the skinny Barbarian, Princess Hentay, Captains Tamagotchi, Fugo, Sogo and Sushi, the warriors and some other trap designed to put to the test the player’s skills, endurance and determination.

From a highly physical game, TV5 presents live game-variety show that turns numbers into gold, Lucky Numbers at 1pm. Hosted by intelligent actress and TV host Eugene Domingo with Keempee de Leon, the next big thing in Philippine game shows will happen this February 27 as the Happy Network brings the most entertaining game show in the UK to Philippine TV. From the producers of worldwide hit game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, TV5 is the first to localize UK’s Magic Numbers which currently tops ratings game in the UK and some Scandinavian and European territories.

Lucky Numbers is a fast-paced, gripping show where cellphone numbers can win you a huge amount of money live. The show will generate six magic numbers through a mix of studio surprises and high-energy performances by Jon Avila, Andrew Wolfe, Tres Marias, Biriteras, Jan Nieto, Wendy Valdez and Regine Tolentino and other celebrity guests. To register, home viewers will have to earn two numbers (based on the last seven digits of the cellphone number) from six magic numbers generated. One lucky phone contestant is then selected to participate in the tension-filled money end-game where they can win up to P1 million in cash prizes.

Come 2pm, TV5 gathers the freshest and brightest teen stars of the network and their fan base for an hour of high-quality entertainment in Fantastik! Sunday is fans’ day as Alex Gonzaga, Kean Cipriano, Danita Paner and JC de Vera take center stage to showcase their talent. A steamy battle of the sexes awaits you as alluring young stars Princess Ryan, Diane Medina and Carla Humphries; and Sakto Boys members Rodjun Cruz, Lucky Mercado, Rainier Castillo and Edgar Allan Guzman deliver flame right to your TV screen with their sizzling performances.

Helmed by Al Quinn and musical direction by Jay Durias, the Sunday gathering of rising stars is never complete without Star Factor prized talents—Final Four’s Ritz, Christian, Sette, Eula, and the rest of SF teen stars—as they step up their journey to a whole new level. Spicing up the new Sunday variety show is Gerald Santos, DJ Mike, Alyana and Anykka Asistio and Gloc9; plus Alwyn Uytingco, Meg Imperial, Empoy Marquez, Martin Escudero and Arci Munoz.
