Cherry Pie Picache Accused Baron Geisler of Lascivious Act; PAMI Asked Baron To Apologize

Despite his constant denial on the accusations being thrown to him by Cherry Pie Picache and the staff of Noah, the Professional Artists Managers Inc. (PAMI) still decided to request Baron to make a public apology.

It will be remembered that last week, actress Cherry Pie Picache accused Baron of grabbing her breast while shooting an abduction scene in ABS-CBN's primetime series Noah. According to the program staff, Baron also reported to the shoot intoxicated. On January 17, Cherry Pie and her manager Ed Instrella filed a formal complaint to ABS-CBN and PAMI "with the hope that similar incident will not happen again." ABS-CBN immediately killed the "Caleb" character being played by Baron in the series.

But aside from public apology, it was also decided on last night's PAMI members' meeting that all stars whose talent managers are member of PAMI will be inhibited to work with Baron until such time that the actor will be "fully rehabilitated".

Here is the full statement released by PAMI President June Torrejon regarding this case:

PAMI just concluded an emergency meeting in response to the letter of complaint received from Mr. Ed Instrella (manager of Cherry Pie Picache) against Actor Baron Geisler.

Ed Instrella related the unfortunate incident involving Cherry Pie and Baron during the taping of Noah last Friday January 14, 2011. Arnold Vegafria in behalf of Baron expressed his sincere apology. He is in agreement that Baron needs professional and medical help and has expressed to PAMI that Baron is willing to undergo treatment. We are supporting Arnold in his efforts to help his artist.

After hearing both sides from the two PAMI Members, Ed and Arnold, the PAMI has decided on the following:

1) That all PAMI managed artists should not be exposed to incidents like this again for their safety and security

2) We are requesting the assurance from all networks and movie producers to ensure that any actor in an intoxicated state should not be allowed on the set

3) That Baron should publicly apologize to Cherry Pie Picache

4) To inhibit all PAMI managed artists from working with Baron until such time that PAMI believes Baron Geisler is fully rehabilitated."

This is the third time Baron receives the same accusation. Last May 2008, Patrizha Martinez, daughter of William Martinez and Yayo Aguila, filed an acts of lasciviousness case against Baron.

After exactly one year, Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi filed an acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation against the actor.
