Billie Piper rocks the boat with a passionate embrace

She dressed in tracksuits as a time travelling blonde and in her lingerie as a scantily clad call girl, but Billie Piper's latest role sees her transformed yet again.

In A Passionate Woman the actress takes on the role of 1950s housewife Betty, dressed in calf-length tweeds and neat jackets and blouses. Her character is a young mother and wife who falls hopelessly in love with her charismatic Polish neighbour, Alex Crazenovski, played by Theo James.
