Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in GMA Films "One True Love"

They are the leading loveteam on primetime television nationwide. Now, you will get to see them in the big screen via GMA Films' One True Love.

“One True Love” is the working title of the upcoming romantic movie topbilled by Marimar and Dyesebel love team, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. The movie, which was formerly called “Amnesia”, was supposed to be shown last August but due to some schedule problems with its stars, it was moved to a November 2008 playdate.

Iza Calzado is also starring in “One True Love”. It is a joint venture of GMA Films and Regal Films and to be helmed by Mac Alejandre, the director of Joaquin Bordado. Today is the first day of shooting of the said romantic movie.

There is a possibility that One True Love will clash with the Star Cinema movie “Land Down Under” starring Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin. In earlier reports, Piolo already made a statement that he is hoping their movie will not be pitted against “One True Love.”

Star Magic 2009 Catalogue Out on Sept 28

In celebration of Star Magic's 16th year anniversary, they will be launching on September 28, 4pm, at SM Megamall and EDSA Shangrila lobby its 2009 Star Magic Catalogue.

Big stars like Piolo Pascual, Diether Ocampo, Jake Cuenca, Matt Evans, Melissa Ricks, and PBB Teens are expected to grace the event.

This year's Star Magic Catalogue theme is Beauty and Fashion Shots of the Star Magic Stars with Paolo Pineda as the photographer and Luis Espiritu as the stylist.

2009 Star Magic Catalogue will be sold in the event for only 130 pesos and the first 250 buyers will get the chance to meet and greet and have their copies signed by the Star Magic stars.

2008 Yes! Magazine List of Top 20 Celebrity Endorsers

Yes! Magazine, one of the leading entertainment news magazines in the Philippines, came up with its list of Top 20 Local Celebrity Product Endorsers based on their estimated total income for 2008.

In the magazine's October 2008 issue, executives from the advertising industry were interviewed to describe how they choose a certain celebrity, and to explain why consumers oftentimes believe in the statements of these stars in their commercials.

According to YES! Editor-in-Chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, "The list you see here is our own. Our list is not write in stone. This is, after all, a topic wrapped in some pretty serious secrecy—but it is one we stand by. With good reason: ours is an independent list using multiple sources, pursued fairly, and computed with disinterest."

Sharon Cuneta, Aga Muhlach, Kris Aquino, Piolo Pascual, Marian Rivera, and Dawn Zulueta are among some of those who made it to the list.

Vina Morales, Pregnant?

Vina Morales continues to keep her fans guessing: Is she or is she not pregnant with her first child?

According to the report, the actress-singer is two months pregnant but until now there is still no confirmation from Vina's camp.

Vina is currently in Japan for a TFC (The Filipino Channel) engagement. Ogie Diaz of DZMM's new talk show Talakan said that Vina is really pregnant and very excited to announce it to the media.

However, Star Magic vehemently denied the rumor.

Rollie Concepcion Passed Away at 72

Rollie Concepcion, father of actor Gabby Concepcion, has passed away. Gabby's father died at around 8:30 p.m. last night, September 23, in Lourdes Hospital. He was 72.

The Concepcion patriarch had been sick for a few years now because of an enlarged heart. In an interview, Gabby said that his father cannot be operated anymore because almost all of his arteries are clogged.

One of the reasons Gabby returned to the Philippines after 13 years of living in the United States was to see his father again. Mr. Concepcion had been known to be the driving force of his son's showbiz career.

Mr. Rollie Concepcion's remains lie at the Montessori Chapel on P. Guevarra St., San Juan City.
