Ashton Kutcher Replaces Charlie Sheen on ‘ Two and a Half Men’

Ashton Kutcher officially joins the cast of the CBS hit series "Two And Half Men" after Charlie Sheen was sacked from the hit comedy show.

But contrary to rumors that he will "Charlie Harper" the role previously played by Sheen, Kutcher insisted he is not trying to replace Sheen.

The CBS network also confirmed that Kutcher won’t take over the role of Charlie Harper. Instead, Ashton will play a new person who moves into the Malibu bachelor pad.

On March 7, 2011, CBS and Warner Bros. fired Sheen from Two and a Half Men. The official statement read: "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately."

However, Charlie Sheen is said to be not happy about producers finding a new leading man for his show.

"Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer… Oh wait, so am I," Sheen said, adding "Enjoy the show America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."
