TV5 New Weekend Shows

The primetime weekend slot in television has always been meant for big shows and big entertainment, and it looks like TV5 is gunning for a much-bigger share of the market with the release of its second season flagship shows.

Catch TV5's Saturday primetime shows such as:

1. Lipgloss, now with bolder and spicier stories of controversies and issues surrounding the lives of the Linden High teens.

2. Talentadong Pinoy, hosted by Aliw Awards Best Emcee of the Year Ryan Agoncillo.

3. Midnight DJ, wherein the thriller saga continues with Oyoboy Sotto as Samboy--the new Midnight DJ who is yet to discover his gift of a third eye.

TV5's Sunday primetime boasts of a hilarious sitcom, a fabulous game show, and an exciting dance show:

1. Everybody Hapi stars John Estrada, Eugene Domingo, Roxanne Guinoo, Alex Gonzaga and Matt Evans in a mixed-up Romeo and Juliet story.

2. Everybody Hapi will be followed by Gretchen Barretto's You & Me Against the World--the fabulous game show that promises to give away P 1 million every week.

3. The definitive dance show Shall We Dance: Search for the Dance Superstar completes the line-up, with hosts Lucy Torres-Gomez, Jon Avila, and Victor Basa.

Catch Lipgloss at 6 p.m., followed by Talentadong Pinoy at 7 p.m. and Midnight DJ at 8 p.m. every Saturday, and enjoy the comedy of Everybody Hapi at 6 p.m., You & Me Against the World at 7 p.m. and Shall We Dance at 8 p.m. every Sunday. TV5 Second Season Shows

TV5 presents a new set of shows as it launches its second season this month. TV5 is offering new shows 24/7. To complete the program line-up is a brilliant addition, the game show You & Me Against The World hosted by Gretchen Barretto, plus the situational comedy Everybody Hapi starring John Estrada, Eugene Domingo, Alex Gonzaga, Matt Evans and Roxanne Guinoo.

Kids and ’tweens will further enjoy mornings with Filipino-dubbed Nicktoons Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Avatar, and Spongebob Squarepants, plus educational shows like Blue’s Clues, Barney and the all-time-favorite Play With Me Sesame. Four new animé series — Shakugan No Shana II, Mai Hime, Noein and the award-winning animé Code Geass — are aired weekday afternoons.

Weekday primetime shows with edgy, amusing storylines include Hahahayop hosted by Eugene Domingo; OMG with Iya Villania as host; Kiddie Kwela, hosted by Bayani Agbayani, Video Zonkers, Rescue Mission with TJ Trinidad and Baikngu with an eclectic mix of hosts — Gabe Mercado, Brod Pete and Richard del Rosario. Wrapping up your day are late-night shows Weekend News with Ramon Bautista; I Am Ninoy hosted by Bianca Gonzales; FLO, a new teen magazine show; and TOYZ, a magazine lifestyle show with gadgets, cars and lots of bling.

Juicy!, hosted by Alex Gonzaga, gets a lot juicier and more entertaining with IC Mendoza co-hosting. Lipgloss, now bolder and more fast-paced, goes back to back with Midnight DJ, with Oyo Boy Sotto as the new DJ.

Ryan Agoncillo continues hosting Talentadong Pinoy to unearth Pinoys’ talents every Saturday, while Lucy Torres brings it on on Shall We Dance every Sunday.

Continuing to deliver blockbuster movies in the comfort of your home every evening is 5MAX Movies, now at 9 p.m.

TV5 will also offer promos such as the Kalog Ka-Load wherein viewers can win more than P10,000 load daily and P5,000 cash.
