Black Eyed Peas' Fergie gets her own signature scent

She conquered the music industry, starred in ten feature films and has designed a popular range of shoes so releasing her own fragrance was the obvious next career step.Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, real name Stacy Ann Ferguson, recently announced the release of Outspoken, her own signature scent for Avon.

And now the 35-year-old appears in a new television commercial promoting the fragrance which is set to be aired nationally in the coming weeks.

The perfume, sold by US retail giant Avon, is said to contain base notes of Ebony and Black leather with frozen blackberry and saffron as top notes making is a very flowery and fruity mix.

Avon describe it as 'a fragrance for a woman with fearless confidence, who is true to herself and her beliefs, who is outspoken, sexy, and unexpected.'

Very much like Fergie's personality.

In the ad Fergie is seen wearing a skin tight black mini dress and dancing to music while enjoying the smell of the fragrance.

I’m always seeking out new ways to express myself,' Fergie said of the partnership.

'And fragrance is the perfect opportunity to share my originality and confidence with my fans, and the Avon customer. I couldn’t be happier to be working with a brand with such a strong reputation for supporting women.'

The singer, who married Transformers actor Josh Duhamel back in January 2009 after five years together, has been on a break from her music career in recent months.

She was spotted out with her husband over the weekend going for a hike near their home in Los Angeles.
