The 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival through Mr. Ric Camaligan, Chairman - MMFF Parade and Programs Executive Committee, revealed the first day ranking of the films included at the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival. In ranking order, these films are:

2. Ang Darling Kong Aswang – P16.7M
3. Shake, Rattle and Roll XI – P16.2M
4. I Love You, Goodbye – P11.7M
5. Nobody Nobody But Juan – P8M
6. Mano Po 6 – P6.9M
7. Wapakman – P750,000.00
