Is it me or is there a sense of deja vu going on here?
Two years ago when Season 4 was being filmed, it was the episodes
The Doctor's Daughter and
Midnight (with
Turn Left sandwiched in between). Those were episodes 6 and 10. Here with Season 5, it's also episodes 6 and 10, rumoured to be titled
Vampires In Venice and
Vincent And The Doctor.

It looks a new variation on the Eleventh Doctor's outfit. Seems he gets to have both a blue shirt and bowtie midway through the series. That can only be a good thing.

The Doctor (Matt Smith), Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) in an alley. It looks like we're getting two companions halfway through the season. Brilliant! Rory is unspecified. I'm hoping that he's Amy's brother or friend instead of boyfriend but it doesn't really matter, does it?

Lots of villagers in costume but until we see Tony Curran (the man Richard Curtis announced was playing Van Gogh), it's hard to tell which episode is being shot first. Both are period pieces.

Which means that we seemingly are guaranteed at least three of them. These two episodes that are being filmed and the Dalek episode from earlier.

Rory, Rory - well Arthur Darvill isn't a bad looking bloke and I've always thought this show worked better with two companions and by the looks of it, we're getting two. Here's a chart with more episode details and stuff ....
