Alexis Cohen aka Glitter Girl, who became famous for flippin' the bird in American Idol and failing twice in American Idol auditions (2008 and 2009), was found dead on the streets of Allentown on July 25.A 25-year-old Allentown, Pa. woman and former contestant on the television show American Idol was struck by a car and killed in Seaside Heights early Saturday morning in an apparent homicide, authorities said. Alexis Cohen was found dead at the edge of Dupont Avenue near Bay Boulevard at about 4 a.m., said Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
