Anna Paquin (
X-Men, The Piano) plays the lead character, telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse. British actor Stephen Moyer, who played a buff, tanned golden beach bum in The Starter Wife, goes pale and nocturnal as the 173 year old vampire, Bill Compton—Romeo to Sookie’s Juliet.
While
Anna Paquin walked away with the award for Best Actress in a television series—Drama at the recent Golden Globe awards, I personally think one of the hardest roles to pull off is that of Sookie’s clueless horndog of a brother, Jason Stackhouse.
