Kapuso "It" girls Michelle Madrigal, Lovi Poe, Bianca King and Solenn Heussaff had a sad and humiliating experienced in Mactan Cebu International Airport recently.
According to Jun Lalin's Abante report last Tuesday, March 29, the four, who were there to attend the first anniversary presentation of Party Pilipinas last Sunday, March 27, were rudely treated by an airport staff simply because they tried to stay in a venue only allotted to Kapamilya stars.
This report was confirmed via twitter by Michelle on March 27: “Rude girl at the airport of cebu! Won't let her ruin my night”.
Lovi's twitter posts on March 28, however, seemed to support Michelle's tweets as well.
“If some people think that it’s cool to be looking all superior…wrong, it’s so fun to be down to earth.” Lovi posted on her twitter.
“And don’t act superior if you know that you have no K to be. Bwahahaha!” she added.
The incident, according to witnesses happened after Michelle, Lovi, Bianca and Solenn joined the rest of the entourage of the ABS-CBN show “ASAP Rocks” inside a room in the airport. They were said to have been invited in by ABS-CBN talents John Prats and Luis Manzano after seeing the Kapuso girls being mobbed by autograph seekers in the airport's public lounge.
Apparently, this didn't sit well with the airport staff, who allegedly confronted the four and reprimanded them for being in the room that was supposedly for exclusive use of the ABS-CBN talents. She then led the four back into the public lounge of the airport.
The actresses were offended by the manner they were treated. Although they didn't mind being asked to leave the room, they thought it could have been done in a courteous manner.
Meanwhile, Pilipino Star Ngayon tabloid published that the alleged ill-treatment of the four girls was instigated by two girls from the ABS-CBN faction, as seemingly confirmed by a tweet from Bianca last March 28.
“Why do some boring uptight girls have to b so insecure of lively, fun loving girls? Its not our fault we have many friends,” she tweeted.
Later that day, Bianca tweeted another message: “may suspicion na kami ni @lovipoe and manang bell! We all noticed the same thing about 2 people.”
Bianca didn't name the girls, however, deleting the tweets a few hours hence.
AIRPORT STAFF EXPLAINS
In a report realeased by PEP last Friday, the airport official who allegedly maltreated Bianca, Lovi, Solenn at Michelle speaks.
She is Maryann Dimabayao, OIC of Public Affairs in Mactan Airport.
I approached her in a nice way na hindi naman sila ma-offend.
BIANCA KING FIRES BACK
"Okay lang sana if we were approached in a proper manner, pero hindi po," diin ng Kapuso actress.
Plus, we were there for less than five minutes pa lang."
"Wala po sa amin ang nagreklamo kasi po, sa totoo lang, it only mattered for 15 minutes and we were all laughing about it after.
"The reason probably why she [Maryann] keeps addressing me now is because I asked for her name, introduced myself and shook her hand, as per the request of Tita Avin [Marivin Arayata, GMA-7 executive].
"I'm sure she was doing her job, but there's always a better way to talk to guests in order to keep good ties with everyone.
