First Look: New Trailers of “Crazy Stupid Love,” “Dolphin Tale”

Warner Bros. has just shared the first trailers of two of its potential blockbusters for 2011 – the romantic comedy “Crazy Stupid Love” (http://www.youtube.com/user/WBPhilTrailers#p/u/6/WZu_8a4Nn54) and the family adventure “Dolphin Tale” (http://www.youtube.com/user/WBPhilTrailers#p/u/6/WZu_8a4Nn54).

“Crazy Stupid Love” stars Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban.

At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Carell) is living the dream - good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his “perfect” life quickly unravels. Worse, in today’s single world, Cal, who hasn’t dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth.

Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Gosling). In an effort to help Cal get over his wife and start living his life, Jacob opens Cal’s eyes to the many options before him: flirty women, manly drinks and a sense of style that can’t be found at Supercuts or The Gap.

Meanwhile, “Dolphin Tale” is inspired by the remarkable true story of a courageous dolphin named Winter and the compassionate people who banded together to save her life.

Starring Harry Connick, Jr., Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd, the movie version centers on a boy who befriends an injured dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap. Through their bond and friendship, the boy motivates everyone around him to help save the dolphin by creating a prosthetic appendage to replace the dolphin's tail. The marine mammal's strong survival instincts become an inspiration to people with special needs throughout the world.

“Crazy Stupid Love” will open across the Philippines in August, while “Dolphin Tale” arrives in October.
