GMA News TV Station ID 2011

The biggest news on Philippine television unfolds this month as GMA Network launches the most awaited news and information channel on free-TV — GMA News TV!

Last night, viewers got an exclusive first look at GMA News TV through the channel’s Station ID, which aired for the first time on GMA’s primetime newscast 24 Oras and on News on Q at 9:30 p.m. on Q-11.

Powered by the formidable GMA News and Public Affairs team, GMA News TV seeks to empower viewers with news, information and public service.

Featured in GMA News TV’s Station ID are Jessica Soho, Mike Enriquez, Mel Tiangco, Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales and Howie Severino.

The credibility of the pillars of Serbisyong Totoo and the organization’s commitment to the truth has been communicated clearly, especially in the award-winning Panata campaign. In this SID, we showed another side of them - their sensitivity to the needs of the viewers,” shares GMA AVP/creative director for Creative Services (GNTV) Lots Topacio.

In their daily grind, the pillars of GMA do not only deliver the news, they are actually exposed to the people out there. In dealing with people, they become aware of their needs. Now that we will have a whole channel dedicated to News and Public Affairs, the need for more news and information can be better served. Importante sa amin na alam ninyo. That’s the message GMA News wants to communicate through the pillars,” adds Topacio.

Also in the station ID are Kara David, Connie Sison, Ivan Mayrina, Pia Arcanghel, Raffy Tima, Mariz Umali and Jun Veneracion.

The creative team is led by GMA Network’s VP for Program Support Department Regie Bautista with Topacio, senior project manager Jay Redondo and project manager Ayee Villa-Moya, while its post-production team includes GMA Network’s VP for post-production and director of photography Ding Achacoso, AVP for post-production and station ID director Paul Ticzon, co-director Vince Gealogo, producer Ingrid Navarro, assistant director Neil Nanquil, and first assistant director Ella Cruz.
