We are already moving on to the third month of the year and still there aren't any R&B albums that have blown us away with the exception of Soldier Of Love from Sade. Thankfully, Keke Wyatt is returning on the scene with an R&B album titled Who Knew that will cure the diehard fans that are craving for a supreme vocalist with a hot track to boot. Make sure to pick up her album which hits stores tomorrow, February 23, 2010.
This seems to be the topic of whispers that are happening in the close quarters of R&B. Rumor is Ashanti is planning to ink a deal with Aftermath Records. According to AllHipHop.com, Ashanti's songs for her upcoming fifth studio album is being heavily produced by Dr. Dre and in the process, the two are negotiating a deal to link her new imprint, Written Entertainment, with his label Aftermath Records.
There is no confirmation on if this rumor is true, but it sure is exciting. Ashanti linking up with Dr. Dre could mean great things for the singer. Dr. Dre has an amazing ear when it comes to production and he could be the push that Ashanti's career needs. Who knows, maybe Ashanti can collaborate on a song with rapper Eminem.
