Channing Tatum Scandal

Before he charmed Hollywood casting directors with his work in the movies "Step Up" and "Stop Loss", G.I. Joe star Channing Tatum made a living in a Chippendales-style dance revue called "Male Encounter".

Channing was 18 when he joined the troupe in 1999. According to US Weekly, Channing performed under the alias Chan Crawford and worked the gig for just under a year at a now-defunct South Florida nightclub.

"He was really shy at first, but he really knew how to work a stage," the club’s former owner, London Steele, told the magazine.

"The women went crazy for him making him earned $50 a night plus tips." he added.

That gig eventually led to him being "talent spotted" and made him appeared as featured dancer in Ricky Martin’s video for "She Bangs" -
his first big showbiz break.
