Ted Failon's Wife Trinidad Etong Committed Suicide?

Broadcaster Ted Failon's wife Trinidad Etong is currently confined at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of New Era Hospital and fighting for her life after she was found drowning in her own blood inside the Etong's bathroom at 10:30 this morning, April 15, 2009.

In response to a report that the couple were involved in a shooting incident, Failon's home network, ABS-CBN, issued this statement to the media: "We appeal to everyone to please respect the privacy of Ted and his family. His wife is fighting for her life."

However, according to Chief Superintendent Roberto Rosales, Trinidad, 45, has a wound in the head and was declared brain-dead by physicians at the New Era Hospital after sustaining a bullet wound in her right temple. The slug went through the side of her head.

In a TV report, Superintendent Franklin Mabanag, the head of the Criminal Investigation Unit in Quezon City, is now at the house of the Failons in Tierra Pura Subdivision. Mabanag said that all the procedures, including paraffin test, will be done inside the house.

According to Mabanag, all of the residents of the house are now considered suspects, including Ted, despite the suicide note found on the couple's bedroom which according to news was written by Trinidad before the shooting incident.

The suicide note states:

"Papa I'm so so sorry. Sorry sorry Papa."

But Ted is in doubt if the suicide note truly came from his wife Trinidad.

Ted (Mario Teodoro Failon Etong in real life) also sent the following statement to media:
